Wanting to help people who cannot speak up for themselves, Taichi Sora becomes a lawyer. Although he passes the bar exam on his first attempt, his job search ends in disappointment because his stutter makes it difficult for him to perform well in interviews. Eventually, he finds his way to an unconventional, struggling law firm. There, he is welcomed by the firm’s director, Yukimura Asumi, who insists that “the law cannot save people,” and the brilliant but eccentric lawyer Hoshi Hideyuki, who proudly declares that he never takes on a case he cannot win.
